The Never Ending Battle – Low Carb vs. Low Fat Diet

With so many diets out there, it can seem impossible to determine which one is right for you. All I have to say is…

Or get-skinny-fast potions should always be steered clear of. Losing weight is all about your diet, eating fat burning foods, and if you are really serious about losing that weight fast, high intensity interval training such as tabata can be added into the mix. Those are the only real “get skinny fast” kind of diets that are actually healthy for you…

And more importantly – that work!

Losing weight can also be done gradually and not drastically. This is when the low carb diet and low fat diet comes into the debate. Whether this is going to be your first step to shedding those pounds, or your entire weight loss program, you need to know what each one will do for you.

That’s why you have me!

Low Carb Diet Is Perfect For Lack of Exercise

The fact is that carbohydrates are needed for energy and people who are working out can consume tons of carbs low-carbbecause their bodies are using them for energy. However, if you’re not working out, guess what happens to those carbs…

They turn into fat!

Having a low carb diet can still be the answer for you if you aren’t exercising regularly, because the small amounts of carbohydrates that you will be ingesting will be used for the small amount of activity that you do.

A low carb diet consists of getting the majority of your carbs from fruits, vegetables and protein. As a result…

You will see dramatic results because your body doesn’t have those extra carbs to store for fat.

All you really have to do is eliminate the sugary snacks, breads, pasta and starchy vegetables and you’ll be well on your way to losing some weight…

Super easy, right?

You can’t go nuts and eat everything in sight, because fat and proteins have a high caloric intake, but you won’t be starving yourself either.

Eat Lots With Low Fat Diet

A low fat diet consists of reducing the amount of fats that are in your diet…

Vegetables, fruits and other nutrients that aren’t fatty are your go-to food items.

Low glucose is standard with this diet because sugar usually equals fat. This will also allow you to lose weight and have a normal blood sugar level…

You can eat a lot, as long as it’s all low fat. Oh, and you can get away without exercising on this diet as well.

To Each Their Own

As you can see, both have their own benefits. You are likely to receive faster results on a low carb diet, but you may be feeling hungry from time to time.

The problem with these diets are that once you stop eating low carb or low fat, you’re likely to gain those pounds back..

The best option is to make a healthy lifestyle change and make smart decisions when it’s time to eat. Eat every 3 hours to keep your metabolism moving, have protein and vegetables at every meal, and no carbs after lunch.
