We watched the ball drop…

We changed our calendars…

It’s official…

Another “New Year” is upon us.

And that makes this the perfect time to start living healthy… and finally uncover that slim, sexy body of your dreams.

You see, the slate is clean. All your bad habits are in the past. You have a fresh start. A new chance to do the right things and finally get the results you deserve.

I know you’re motivated right now. You have all your New Year’s resolutions planned out. You’re ready to make some big changes.

But let me tell you a secret…

You Don’t Have To Do That!

The key to looking great isn’t by torturing yourself with some starvation diet. You don’t have to punish yourself with brutal workouts that would bring Olympic athletes to tears. That just isn’t realistic. Sure, you may stick with it for a few weeks… but after that, you’re back to square one.

In order to lose the weight and keep it off for good, you have to be consistent. Nothing drastic…

Just make those small changes that add up to big results!

And I’m about to share some of the most important changes with you right now. The more of these you make, the more changes you’ll see in your body… and the faster you’ll see those changes.

So let’s get into it.

Start your morning with my Magic Metabolism Booster.

This little drink gets you burning fat right away. It’s the perfect way to start a day. Simply mix hot water with a squirt of lemon juice. The nutrients it provides gives your metabolism a morning kick-start.

Make sure you eat breakfast.

In order to burn fat, you have to throw fuel onto the fire. When you’re sleeping, that means you’re going 6-8 hours without any of this fuel… so your metabolism slows down. In order to bring it back to speed, it’s important you eat breakfast.

As for what you should eat…

Protein helps boost your metabolism. It also helps fuel your muscles.

Fiber is important for proper digestion. It also helps you feel full with less calories.

Carbohydrates are your body’s preferred source of energy. They help give you the boost you need to tackle the day ahead of you.

These are the 3 elements of a healthy breakfast.

Eat more often.

When you’re trying to lose weight, you may think it makes sense to eat less. You may even want to skip meals…

Bad idea.

Like we talked about earlier, the key to getting great results is consistency.

So if you start skipping meals, you’re more likely to binge later in the day. You don’t want that. You want to supply your body with a steady stream of nutrients. This keeps your metabolism burning along at full-speed and helps to eliminate hunger cravings.

For the best results, eat small meals every three hours.

Earn your carbs!

No, carbs aren’t evil! They’re a great source of energy for your body.

The only problem is…

You have to actually use that energy, or else the extra carbs can get stored as fat.

But there’s a simple solution here: just eat your starchy carbs early in the day. This way, you’re able to actually use the energy they provide.

Then, after lunch when your day is winding down… stick to eating protein, fiber and healthy fats.

Drink your water.

It’s more effective than any fat loss pill… and it’s free. Better yet, it’s amazing for your body in too many ways to count.

ice waterI’m talking about water… one of your biggest weapons in the fight against fat.

When you’re dehydrated (even a little) your metabolism slows down considerably. You have a much harder time burning fat. That’s obviously not what we want.

So make sure to drink your water. At least 8 glasses a day. The colder, the better.

Studies have shown that just by drinking 8 glasses of cold water per day… you burn an extra 7 pounds of fat per year!

Also, by drinking a big glass of water 15 minutes before every meal, you’re much less likely to overeat at that meal.

Be active!

To burn more fat, you have to move more!

It’s so important to be active.

Now, this doesn’t mean you have to kill yourself in the gym for hours. The important thing is that you’re consistent. Even if it’s just 10-15 minutes a day, as long as you’re sticking to it and doing more each day, the effort builds up… and the results are sure to follow!

So there you have it…

A roadmap you can follow to unlock a slim new body in 2014.

I know it seems simple, but that’s the point! By focusing on these simple changes, you’re well on your way to making your dreams come true.

No crazy diets… no torture chamber workouts… just the fundamentals.

Good clean food and regular activity. That’s how you achieve your goals.

Which reminds me… what are your goals? What are you hoping to accomplish in 2014?
