Green tea is known around the world for its weight-loss boosting capabilities. Initially when I started losing weight I thought that the benefits of green tea were restricted to just weight-loss but then over time I came to learn of the several benefits it had besides just increasing your metabolism rate. I was pretty surprised to learn that green tea had so many benefits that people didn’t know of and I decided to write this article to tell you all what you’re missing out on if you’re not consuming green tea yet.

Here are just a few of the benefits of green tea that can make you so much healthier:

Balances Cholesterol Levels

Green tea aids in the regulation of cholesterol levels and balances out the bad cholesterol when there is excess of it to improve its ratio to good cholesterol.

Skin Nourishment

Certain studies have also found that when green tea is applied to the skin it can help reduce wrinkles and have anti-aging effects. This is due to the anti-oxidant properties that green tea has.

Regulates Blood Pressure

The chances of high blood pressure is reduced when you consume green tea on a regular basis.

Green tea’s anti-oxidant properties come to the fore again as green tea is known to help protect damaged cells which help fighting cancer.
