Tea is one of the most important drinks in the world. It has a rich and fascinating history, and some would go so far as to say that it has played a major role in the development of our world and civilizations.
The reality is that we all have to drink a certain amount of water each and every day in order to be healthy and hydrated, but you can actually replace that with tea. And when you consider that different teas, using extracts from different plants, have various health benefits, on top of the hydration and cleansing ones of water, it becomes an even more important drink. And my absolute favorite tea is Oolong tea.
What Is Oolong Tea?
Oolong tea is a fantastic weight loss tea that surpasses even the benefits of green tea. Besides being really good for weight loss, it is also a fantastic replacement for coffee. A lot of people have somewhat of a coffee addiction. As a result, they suffer from terrible headaches, but they suffer from the same headaches if they stop drinking it. I, myself, drank seven cups of coffee each and every day. I thought it would be impossible to stop drinking it. However, Oolong tea actually gave me more energy than what the coffee ever did. Added to that the fact that it burned more fat, and I was converted.
Besides weight loss and energy, it is also a fantastic tea to remove free radicals from the body. Besides this, it will start to repair the cells that have been damaged by the various free radicals. It also helps to give the skin a more radiant, youthful glow. It rejuvenates and makes you feel good inside and out.
It also helps to make bones stronger, fighting osteoporosis and more. It controls diabetes, and helps to relieve stress. This actually works in two ways. Firstly, the tea itself helps bring the levels of cortisol down. Secondly, there is simply nothing as relaxing as sitting down with a nice cup of tea, which is just so much nicer than slurping down a cup of coffee really quickly. Last but not least, it helps to make you more alert and builds your mental capacity.
So is there anything wrong with this tea? The only thing is that it is high in caffeine. Hence, if you don’t respond well to caffeine, you may want to stay away from it. On the other hand, I have gone from seven cups of coffee to just two cups of Oolong tea a day, so if you don’t have any problems with caffeine, this tea is just perfect.
